Print Making
Project Description: This project was created with ink. We started by drawing a picture of an animal in a certain environment on a small peice of paper. Once we had it drawn, we then taped to to a styrofoam sheet. The drawing was then traced on the paper so that it engraved the styrofoam to leave a print on it. The tracing on the paper may not have left a deep enough engraving on the styrofoam, so we then had to take the paper off and go over what we traced again pushing a little bit harder into it. But we didn't push to hard to make a whole. Once the engraving was done, I got some gray ink and rolled it onto the styrofoam. Once I got enough ink on it, I then flipped it over and placed the inked side on another bigger piece of paper. A roller was used to make sure the ink got on the paper to see the drawing.
